((SHIPPING

When an online order is placed with Lancaster Locksmiths & Security, an order notification is sent via our service supplier. Following this payment confirmation is received from either PayPal or from your credit card supplier. 

When shipping your orders, we will decide the best courier/mail service to use based on your location and the items you have ordered.

These companies include (but are not limited to); Australia Post & StarTrack. If you have any special requests please let us know in the ‘notes’ section of your order.

Please note that although we will try and accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee the use of specific services or dates of delivery. 

If our supplier/s have no stock of the product/s you have selected we will let you know of this as soon as possible and inform you of when we will receive stock or we can issue you an immediate refund through Paypal or your credit card supplier. 

Shipping Costs: 

  • All orders are subject to shipping costs respective to the size & weight of your order. 
  • Some smaller products/orders of reasonable weight may qualify for free shipping, however, this is not guaranteed by Lancaster Locksmiths & Security.
  • All customers are responsible for identifying/calculating there shipping costs before completing their checkout. 

ESTIMATED DISPATCH TIMEFRAMES

We will use reasonable endeavors to dispatch all Orders within 1-3 business days where products ordered are currently in stock. For Products that are Non – Stocked Products, We will use our reasonable endeavors to dispatch Products within 1 business day of the Products arriving at our packing facilities.

NOTE: 

We are a distributor/reseller, not a manufacturer/wholesaler.

As mentioned above, this means that although we may stock a majority of our listed products and will always endeavor to dispatch all orders within 3 business days, it is not guaranteed that all quantities or variations of products required are currently in stock. 

Due to this dispatch times may vary depending on the products you require. Please refer to the list of suppliers below and their estimated lead times for an idea of dispatch timeframes.

  • Please contact us at info@lls247.com.au for Express Postage details if required. An additional charge will be applied to express post orders. 
    • Express orders can only be sent if stock is in facilities.
    • If your required product is currently not in stock, our team can apply the additional express post charge and send out your product when it arrives in our facilities.
  • When our team has dispatched your parcel, we will notify you by providing you a tracking number for your order. Your tracking order provides your parcel location and its estimated time of arrival. 
    • Any updates or tracking details must be taken up with the relevant courier company once your parcel has left Lancaster Locksmiths & Security facilities. 
  • Factors that may affect the dispatch timeframe include: 
    • Large orders.
    • Ordering from multiple brands. 
    • Keyed alike products, Master Keyed Products etc. 
    • Made to order/Special order items. 
    • Power Industry Products

 

RETURNS

Lancaster Locksmiths & Security aim to ensure your complete satisfaction with all products you purchase from us. We understand you may have questions or concerns regarding our products, and we are here to assist you.  Before making a purchase, if you have any uncertainties regarding our product listings, colour options, or suitability for your specific application, we strongly encourage you to contact us. We want to help you make an informed decision and ensure your satisfaction from the start.

Returning Products

Products cannot be returned unless they are faulty or the return is otherwise required by the ACL. Despite this, We may, in Our absolute discretion, elect to accept the return of undamaged products (other than Non Stocked Products) for change of mind. In these particular cases where we choose to accept a return the Products being returned must be:

  • In their original condition and packaging
  • Written notice of return must be made within 21 days from the date of collection/delivery (as applicable).
  • Product must be returned within 60 days from the date of collection / delivery (as applicable).

Unless the Non Stocked Products are faulty or a refund is required by the ACL

Please note that a restocking fee will apply for Change of Mind Returns, and you will be responsible for covering the postage costs for the return.

We request that you contact us prior to returning any items to help us ensure that this is the correct/best option for you.

Change of Mind Returns:

To return your purchase for change of mind you must:

– Notify us in writing within 21 days of goods purchased (as mentioned above).

– Ensure all returned items are in their original condition and packaging and all accessories are included, undamaged.

Please note that a restocking fee will apply for Change of Mind Returns, and you will be responsible for covering the postage costs for the return.

We request that you contact us prior to returning any items to help us ensure that this is the correct/best option for you.

Restocking Fees

We maintain limited stock to offer various products for our customers. Due to this, when some items are returned they will be returned to our wholesaler. The re-stocking fee is what is charged onto us by our wholesaler.

  • Restocking Fee equal to 20% of the returned items purchase price.

Items that cannot be retuned for change of mind return are:

  • Made to order items listed as (MTO) or Special Order items.
  • Additional keys cut for products
  • Keying charges for locks e.g. Keyed Alike or Keyed to Differ.
  • Items that are damaged or defective as a result of misuse or improper installation.

How to Return:

Please refer to the ‘Change of Mind Section’ to begin.

  • If you have spoken to a member of Lancaster Locksmiths & Security, then please follow the following steps unless advise differently by that member of staff.
  • Label the front of package as shown below.
  • Include inside the package your invoice/proof of purchase.
  • On the back of the package please print your full name & invoice number.
